FORT WORTH - J.S. Bach never wrote for the piano - the instrument was in its infancy during his lifetime - but his music figured prominently Tuesday, Day 2 of the International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs.

The amateur competitors who took on the music of the baroque master presented views as varied - and as meaningful - as professionals who explore that great body of keyboard music.
